Species - Pan Fish

Freshwater

Most of the panfish are members of the Sunfish family. They all have a single dorsal fin, starting with spines in the front and becoming soft in the back. All sunfish tend to be territorial and protect their eggs and young in nests. Many of the species will hybridize with other members of sunfish.
